The iWatch

Even though the earliest Apple's going to reveal anything about this will be September 9th, The Wall Street Journal reported on what the iWatch will actually have.

A big claim here is that the iWatch will feature NFC. At the very least, this will allow tap-to-pay functionality in stores so you won't have to wave around your credit card anymore. As well as potentially use it for like let's say, transit tickets, maybe it's your hotel room key, turn on the lights, I mean, there's a lot of opportunities here.

Also, because people like myself have chunky wrists, the iWatch will reportedly come in 2 sizes.

It'll also utilize a curved OLED screen so it naturally curves around the wrist.

Additionally, it'll include sensors to track and monitor health and fitness.

And it'd be interesting to see on the 9th how much of this is correct.

The rumors, in large part to Apple releases ever since Steve Jobs died, have been pretty on point.

That "iWatch" Thing Everyone Has Been Talking About

If you are an Apple fanboy, September 9th is about to be a big day for you. According to John Paczkowski, Apple will be announcing their wearable September 9th, as well as the iPhone 6.

There's been a few leaks here and there, a lot of it seems to be about health–which intrigues me–but, it could be good (or just stuff other phones have done for a while).

It'd be interesting to see if Apple can do for the wearable, that it did for the tablet.

Awful Apple Advert Touting That iOS7 Will Waterproof Your iPhone

Lately, there's this iPhone ad that people are sharing across social networks, and it's pretty interesting.

Then educating the public that when you update your software, you don't even need new hardware.

It makes your iPhone waterproof.

Explaining...

...and if you're skeptical, don't worry...

...but, for all of you with lots and lots of common sense, it turned out to be fake.

Lol, who would have thought that changing your software would make no changes to your hardware. «sarcasm»

This was made even better, thanks to Twitter, where people posted things like:

Obviously, if you make anything look professional enough, people will believe it.

Apple Anniversary

If you have an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, I've got great news for you.
Apple is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the App Store, which launched on July 10, 2008.
And, in celebrating, iOS users get free apps. Not just any free apps. Really, really awesome, free apps (that normally cost a lot of money). Most notably is Traktor DJ, which is normally $20, but now for free.
Day One, which is actually, kind of fantastic.
Over
Barefoot World Atlas
Free games include: Infinity Blade II, which is normally like $7.
BADLAND
Tiny Wings
Where's My Water?
And, lastly, Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP! This game is normally $4.99.
There's no word out on exactly how long this deal will last. So, bite down, hard, and fast, Apple Pies!
