Cristiano Ronaldo Isn't Far Too Concerned with How His Hair Looks to Think About Others

Not even the staunchest Leo Messi fanboy can deny the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is an obnoxiously attractive man.

The Real Madrid superstar is sometimes criticized for being annoyingly arrogant.

The current World Player of the Year was asked to donate a shirt, and a pair of boots, to help raise funds for sick little Erik Ortiz Cruz.

Erik's a 10-month-old boy with cortical dysplasia — a rare brain disorder that causes dozens of daily seizures.

The poor boy's family were trying to raise $83,000 for a vital operation, and he (CR7) obliged. He did give them the shirt and pair of boots, as well as cover the full cost of the operation himself.

And while, as people have pointed out that it's only 20% of what he makes in a week, the fact that he did it, because he could, when it would have been just as easy to not pay any attention whatsoever, is what makes this guy a BAMF!

Blatter Balls Up Ronaldo

On Friday, October 25, 2013, current President of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), Joseph "Sepp" Blatter, was at the world's most prestigious debating society, The Oxford Union Society, to give his opinions on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

When asked about his official position on the issue of who's better between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Blatter began by saying that both are exceptional players, and that they're totally different. He also added that football is all about the difference of stars; that Messi's not "exuberant" (as Ronaldo obviously). Blatter went on to overemphasize that Messi is a "good boy", adding accolade after accolade til he ran out of compliments. As the show streamed live on YouTube, it was a frenzy of sorts in the comments section down below. For a moment, it sure looked like Blatter was actually reading through the comments.

Nonetheless, speaking of Ronaldo as the other one, Blatter labeled him "something else", saying that the Real Madrid star is like a "commander" on the field of play (owing obviously to the way Cristiano carries himself high).

Then, in annoyingly and sloppily comical fashion, the old fart proceeded to demonstrate Ronaldo's mannerisms; and he really played it like a mockery.

Showing no remorse at all, he sarcastically said that it's good to have such "commanders" on the field of play.

Blatter sent sparks flying when he said that one (Ronaldo) had more expenses for the hairdresser than the other (Messi).

Blatter obviously doesn't know that Ronnie actually spends more time fishing and barbecuing, than getting his hair done.

At some point, much to the amusement of the audience, Bladder (intentional verbal mishap) claimed he "likes" both Ronaldo and Messi, before bluntly blurting out that he prefers Messi.

That was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Consequently, Ronaldo took to Twitter and poured out his disappointment. He also shared the vexatious video (apparently after watching it on YouTube).

Gradually, the football community (on Twitter) went haywire.

Ultimately, Blatter was forced to tweet apologies to Ronaldo.

If you watch the video with acute attention, you'd notice that even before comparing Ronaldo and Messi, Blatter made mention of Ibrahimović, and almost immediately, waved it aside and swept it under the rug. Unsurprisingly, soccerheads have since started reading meaning to the seemingly harmless mention.

You can watch the video here.

By the time I hit the dislike button, the video had gotten 914,412 views, with 6,530 dislikes, and 1,446 likes.

As of typing this, the video has reached 1,617,983 views, with 10,698 dislikes, and 2,236 likes.

Barcelona fans, worldwide, are arguably responsible for the very few likes.

Ronaldo Rubbishes Rumored Contract Extension with Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo's current contract with Real Madrid is set to expire in 2015. With the transfer market in full swing, the club president, Florentino Perez, is trying to get the mercurial megastar to renew his contract and extend deal through 2018 . Madrid faithfuls worldwide are agitating, sitting on the edge of their seats, impatiently waiting for the outcome. The clock's ticking fast, but time will tell.
There's no need to wait, though. The Portuguese Playmaker has been largely linked to the exit doors of the Santiago Bernabeu, after he took to Twitter and underlined unhappiness with his current los Blancos deal.
Apparently, the 2008 Ballon d'Or winner has his sights on the Theater of Dreams.
Manchester United seems a likely option, but Monaco is itching to throw €100 million at the 28-year-old. I'm talking a whopping €20 million annual salary. CR7 might just kick his way to France, and join the newly promoted Ligue 1 outfit.
