You Can't Always Trust a Teacher

A 17-year-old kid by the name of Chaz (which, by the way, Parents, if you give your child a name like Chaz, you're giving them a harder life than they need) got suspended after bringing beer to school by mistake.

He says he was going to school, he was running late, he thought he was grabbing a soda, he accidentally grabbed a Coors Light...

...put it into his bag; then realising the mistake he had made at school, he didn't want to get caught with it on him, and he decided to give it to his teacher who he thought would handle it in a good way. And by good way, the teacher reported the beer to the principal who then suspended the boy for three days, and then sent him to an alternative school for two months.

I just (kind of) imagine the principal is like, "Chaz, did you learn your lesson – to not trust authority figures because they're really, really stupid people who've just somehow ended up in power positions because of a piece of paper, or friends?!"

Meanwhile, Christi Seale, Chaz's mom, is being awesome and is fighting for her son to get back into school, and deal with this ridiculous punishment.

But, the principal point of this short story is: a lot of people suck! Also, it should be noted that there are good teachers; there's good out there, but you never know. And, that's really it; not everyone gets justice. Sometimes, just shitty things happen.
