The Succession of Stupidities By Selfie Stick Scumbags

There is no shortage of weird, WTF, just stupid news today. Lemme just get something off my chest real fast: I hate selfie sticks!

I used one once, I tried to convince myself that it was awesome for twenty minutes, and then I hated it forever. Which is why I had almost no empathy when I saw this:

Good.

Matter-of-factly, I'm dreadfully disappointed douchebag didn't decapitate himself and castrate the dude in the pickup.

Sex With Cars

Edward Smith, from Yelm, Washington, claims to have had sex with over 700 cars! And he was on TV because apparently that's what we put on TV these days, lol.

Now it should be noted that even though Edward has sex with cars, it doesn't mean he does not believe in love. He says that while some guys look at boobs and bums on beautiful women, he looks at the front and rear end on beautiful cars.

He's committed himself to a long-term lover, Vanilla — a sexy little secondhand Volkswagen beetle that he's had for 30 years.

They have an open-relationship, sometimes bringing in Cinnamon and Splash.

Cinnamon, a 1973 Opel GT.

Splash, a 1193 Ford Ranger.

Lol, just mentioning all this so you know that this is something that exists in the world right now.

Potassium Chloride Cunt

Daniela Poggiali is a 42 year old nurse who's been working in a northeastern Italian hospital and she has now been arrested because she may have killed 38 patients by injecting them with potassium chloride because they or their family members were "annoying".

Yes, for real!

And unfortunately, the prosecution is saying that it might be hard to prove that she killed all those people because potassium leaves no trace after a few days.

As far as Daniela as a person, her coworkers described her as a "cold, polished person" who sometimes sedated patients who "bothered" her during her shift. They also suspect she gave patients laxatives to embarrass the colleagues who worked after her.

And the cherry on top of this shit pie, the nurse taking a selfie of her giving a thumbs-up next to a patient who had just died.

Ugandan President Signs the Controversial Anti-Gay Bill into Law

If you're like, "I thought the anti-gay bill had already happened in Uganda; isn't it already illegal to be gay there?" Yes! Homosexual acts in Uganda are already illegal. But, apparently, that was not enough.

This bill toughens the already tough laws against gay people; and has made homosexual acts punishable by life in prison.

Now it should be noted that there are people saying that the Ugandan President, Yoweri Musveni, is a master of compromise, because, previously, instead of just jailing gays for their entire life, the bill had simply wanted them killed. So, it's no longer the ‘Kill the Gays’ bill but the ‘Jail the Gays’ bill.

The President of Uganda saying that he would not allow the West to impose their values on him. And, on the act of homosexuality itself, the President of Uganda said that it was learned, and could be unlearned.

Lol, morals aside, where the hell are people's priorities? The President in Uganda is estimated by some to be the twelfth richest person in Africa. So, granted, homosexuality is rampant and terrible, but I look at his country and wonder why he's working so hard against homosexuals when he could, maybe, try and help his infant mortality rate. Talk about AIDS, the lack of health services, even food.

And, it's not that just gay sex is illegal, even the attempt of homosexuality – as they call it – is illegal. Also, the promotion of homosexuality, so if you're surfing gay porn on the Internet: illegal. Aiding and abetting homosexuality is even illegal; so if you set two people up – or somehow you are seen as a person that made this possible and happen – you could go to jail for seven years!

President Obama has said in the past that the signing of this bill would complicate the U.S.’s relationship with the country.

And, by "relationship", I believe he's referring to the two hundred and fifty million dollars the United States sent Uganda last year. And, in response, it seems that the President of Uganda could care less.

The Dramatic Rescue of Harrison Okene, a Nigerian Cook Who Survived for 3 Days Trapped 100 Feet Underwater, in an Overturned Tugboat.

I need to share one of the most WTF/AWESOME stories making the rounds at the moment.

It starts off sad because a vessel sunk off the coast of Nigeria. It was believed that twelve people were killed. Three days later, SA divers go through this vessel for body retrieval. There's a fourteen minute video: the diver's going through, everything's upside down, he's trying to find his way, and out of the darkness, you'll see a hand, one of the crew, who is actually alive! He grabs the other man's hand, and it turns out the cook of the ship, Harrison Okene, was still alive!

He survived three days in the pitch black; no water, no food. And, this body retrieval then turns into a rescue for this man. Miraculous how he survived. I'm literally looking at my mind wandering, trying to put me in his shoes. Three agonizingly long, slow days of being in the pitch black, at the bottom of the ocean; and then a hand grabs you!!! This man may in fact be the luckiest man alive!!!!!!!

You've probably already heard or read about it before now, but it's just a story I had to share because it is so, so powerful. And, if you want to see the full fourteen minute video, here's the link.

It's just amazing! It's absolutely amazing!!

How long do you think that you would survive, at least, even mentally, all by yourself, in the dark, no food, no water; do you think that you would end it on your own? It's like a hard question to type (and ask), because, hopefully, we're never in that situation. But, I'd love to know what you think. Personally, even if I wouldn't be able to last, I'd still hold on tight to the smallest chance. I like living so much.
