Jordan Versus the Islamic State

Last week, the Islamic State released a video of them burning a Jordanian pilot alive and that seemed to be the thing that pushed the Jordanian King over the edge because he started launching missile strikes, he killed 2 Islamic State prisoners, and now, according to the chief of Jordan's airforce approximately 7,000 Islamic State group fighters have been killed — since Jordan began participating in coalition airstrikes!



Saying they launched airstrikes against Islamic State group weapons depots, training centers, and military barracks, since the release of that video.

And as far as the question 'Will this slow down?', doesn't seem like it. The airforce chief saying they attacked 19 targets on the first day, 18 targets on the second day, 19 targets on the third day, and closing with that this is not the end; this is the beginning!

People always say 'Choose your friends wisely.' I say 'Choose your enemies wisely!' The King of Jordan is not messing around! ISIS stroked the fire of rage!

Gassed Gorilla Gifts Poor Photographer with a Sucker Punch

I'd like to thank and congratulate photographer Christophe Courteau for this picture...



...that he somehow was able to take, in the one second it took this 550-pound-alpha-male-drunk-on-bamboo-stems gorilla to rush him and punch him in the face! Here's another shot of it.



And it seems that the only reason this guy is alive today, is that at the same time, another male gorilla was trying to take this alpha's ladies, and he ran off to beat his ass.

Lol, that was one of my favorite things today because not only as an amazing picture, but because while we were doing our normal day's stuff, a guy got sucker punched by a drunk gorilla. I love that we live in a world that random.

Obesity in Children Carries a Hefty Price Tag

Right now in Puerto Rico, legislators are debating whether there should be a fine for having obese children.



The plan right now would involve teachers flagging potentially obese children, health department officials would come in, see if it's overeating, try to see what the cause is, and at that point, a 6-month timer starts.

At the end of that timer, if the child is still obese (according to officials), the parents would be charged $500-$800!



After news broke that this was being debated, there are many doctors out there that said this is unfair.

I'd love to know your opinion on this because those people that do support it, say they support it because more than 28% of children in Puerto Rico are obese — if you compare that to US mainland, that's only 18% there.

Also, that obesity in unhealthy people clog up the healthcare system, they cause the country money, and one of their big points was that raising an obese child was akin to child abuse.

While those against it have points that range from this being fat-shaming, people might start abusing their children by starving them, and I think most notably, this attacks and punishes the poor, since a lot of the food that people can get for cheap is terrible for you.

So, that was a thing.

The End of an Era

Jon Stewart is leaving The Daily Show.



He announced it at a live taping of The Daily Show. The crowd reacted as you'd imagine.



He didn't give an exact date of his last day. He said, you know, they're finalizing some stuff but I just want to take this moment to thank Jon Stewart (I know probably tons of people are doing it), and also his writing staff. Thank you for making the news so interesting and approachable to several generations of people that hate the news.

I don't know if it's just shortsighted of me, or nostalgia, but I can't imagine someone filling your shoes.

Upskirt Upset

This story out of Oregon; it hurts my head. A judge has ruled that a 61-year-old Oregon man by the name of Patrick Buono, did nothing illegal when he crouched down in a store aisle and took an upskirt photo of a 13-year-old girl. Yes, for real!

And it's not that Patrick's lawyer was able to convince the judge that he did not take those pictures — in fact that was not disputed. Instead the lawyer argued that even though he took the picture, he did not break any laws. He argued that there could be no invasion of privacy because they were in a public place. The privacy law bans (clandestine) photography in bathrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, and tanning booths but the aisle of a Target (store) is a public place, and in a public place, upskirt sightings can occur. The lawyer giving the example of Marilyn Monroe.

The privacy law also specifies that nudity has to be involved, and because the 13-year-old girl was wearing panties, it did not count.



As for the charge related to child sex abuse, the lawyer was able to argue that away because according to that state law, the girl should have had to be engaging in sexual conduct. So, I guess perverts everywhere rejoice...



...and everyone else cringe.



And that group of people would include the judge who is not happy with this decision. Judge Eric Butterfield saying:





And he called the decision to acquit this man — Buono — upsetting.

The Chapel Hill Shooting

If you haven't heard, 3 Muslim students in North Carolina were shot dead — execution style.



We know who the killer is because he has turned himself in.

If you've never read an article on my blog before, I don't like to show the faces of these pieces of shit, and I don't like to include their names. But there are some things I'll note about this man because they pertain to the larger story around this.

The killer is a 46-year-old white man; sources say he's an atheist and on his Facebook page he has many antireligious posts.

Police said that they are investigating to see if this was a hate crime. Earlier reports also said that police were looking into if this was actually over a parking dispute — that's what earlier reports said. Although the father of one of the victims spoke out saying that this man had been harassing his child for weeks; that he did not like them because of just who they were, and that this was a hate crime. But at the same time the wife of the killer gave a statement saying the shooting had nothing to do with religion; that this was a long standing issue with the parking.

Then at a press conference, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina, Ripley Rand, said the incident was not part of a targeting campaign against Muslims in North Carolina, and that this was an isolated event. And that jumps directly into what this story has become on social media.

Many people saying this is another example of Western media being racist and bigoted. Saying that instead of this white man having done this, if it had been a Muslim this would've been labeled as a terrorist attack and the media would've been all over this — even faster.

This is becoming such a different issue! Also, while I'll definitely agree there is media bias — and even just general human bias — there are massive flaws in this argument.

As far as coverage, you're talking about something that happened in the past that had 2 weeks of coverage, and something that happened a little bit above half a day ago.

In the Paris attacks, you have this guy that's part of a bigger group that orchestrated an attack and killed 17 people. By definition:



And then you have this evil bastard, and we don't know why he did it! I hardly doubt this was over a parking spot, and it seems like a hate crime!

At the end of the day, that argument doesn't even matter. We're just debating semantics! All Muslims shouldn't have to apologize for the people involved in the Paris attacks and all atheists or white people shouldn't have to apologize for this?!? These are the worst of the worst.

So instead of all of that, what I want to do is remember the three people that had their lives taken away.

And even just a quick glance at any of their social media and your heart just fucking breaks.

Those who are Islamophobic should look at these kids! You have a guy who volunteered for the homeless and provided free dental supplies and food!



He operates thousands of dollars for those that can't help themselves! Posting things like:



And that's why these things break my heart. There's so much good and so much potential that gets taken out for whatever reason.

I don't care if it's someone that bastardizes religion to use that as a reason to kill someone, or if it's someone that doesn't believe in a God and wanted to kill someone that did! Let's just try to take this moment to not just put more hate in this situation, and unite and say that lives matter!! These acts of violence are not right!!!

This is not right that those people that are associated with the other larger groups of people don't accept them. Let's honor the victims, and those before them, and those that'd come after and stand against hate!

I'm not jaded. I know that bigotry is alive and well. The best way to fight against that is to remember who the enemy is.

Dominatrix Duo Sampling Skimpy Police Costumes Pulled Off a Surprisingly Successful Jailbreak

In an amazing story, I have to talk about, or rather blog about something that came out of Brazil.

Reportedly, 2 women broke 26 prisoners out of jail. And according to reports, the way they did it, lol, was they dressed in skimpy sexy police officer costumes, just showed up to the prison, and talked the guards into letting them inside.



It's at that point, the women reportedly roofied the whiskeys the guys were drinking. And when the guards woke up, they were handcuffed naked, and 26 prisoners had escaped.

And so, what we learned here is a life lesson everyone should learn as early as possible. When something seems too good to be true, it probably is. If a beautiful, random, naked woman shows up on your door, question that. You want it to be real, guess what, that's not happening. Her crackhead boyfriend's going to break in and kill you!



Or at the very least, you're going to need genital creams for the rest of your life.

The downfall of so many men is just having a penis. A penis just makes a man stupid. Lol, when women ask me why guys constantly think about sex, it's not like we decided! It's not like we all got together and we were like, 'So, let's always think about sex instead of, you know, being productive with our lives.'



Sex can be an act of love, and passion, and babymaking but at the end of the day, it's getting (what I like to call) mind-poison out of your body. That's what's in there — not just baby batter, it's mind-poison! And if you are a guy and you're not already onboard with this, just, the next time you do whatever, make mental notes of just the weird stuffs going on in your bighead before, and then the clarity after.

First-Degree Murder and a Snapchat Selfie

Authorities have arrested 16-year-old Maxwell Morton for allegedly killing a classmate by shooting him in the face!

Now for how the officers knew he did it, after they found the body of the victim, they found out that Maxwell took a selfie with the corpse and posted it on Snapchat.





So, little tip, if you post a picture of your penis, your vagina, your boobs, or you with a dead body, someone's going to screencap it. It's not going to just disappear into the cloud, you idiot!

So, the police see this, they search his home, they find the murder weapon.

And so the principal point of this short story — other than the obvious — don't murder people please.

Babyzilla

A woman in Florida gave birth to a 14.1-pound bouncing baby boy!



It took 18 hours of labor; the baby is one of the largest in state history.



And one of the weirdest parts to the story is that the mother, Maxxandra Ford, didn't even know she was pregnant until 5 weeks before! She was 35 weeks pregnant and she didn't know!! That's a big surprise!!!



Also, err, I should have mentioned this, she gave birth to the baby naturally. Lol, that's terrifying! This is...this is a natural disaster! I feel like they need to set up a phone number, have a commercial campaign, and a spokesperson to be like: 'Text OMGNO to 7734 to donate $10 to the Maxxandra Ford Vaginal Relief Fund. There was little to no warning. No time to prepare. So much devastation.'

A Quickie Grammy Roundup

Here's what everyone was talking about with the Grammys:

First up, outfits.

Madonna dressed like a matador hooker.



Paris Hilton looked like she had her face photoshopped on a bodybuilder.



Rihanna was in a dress that slowly ate her over the course of the entire show.



And of course, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift were perfect.





Also perfect were the curvalicious Nicki Minaj, and the lovely lady Gwen Stefani.





Then Taylor Swift and Kanye West put the past behind them.



Which I think is the smart thing to do. I mean, say what you want about Kanye West, but he did make her more relevant, and she's massive now!

And then, Prince showed up and everyone cared, except for me.



Then Kanye acted like he was going to Kanye Beck but he didn't.



But, it should be noted, all of the joking aside, when Kanye was asked about it later, he said he didn't think that Beck deserved the award and that Beyoncé should've gotten the award. And it seems like Beck didn't disagree with him. Saying:



Then, the awesomeness that is Pentatonix won a Grammy, congratulations!



And finally, the Grammys made a stand against domestic violence — which many people said was undercut because Chris Brown was in the audience.



To which I say, Guys, it's been so many years, can't we just forgive Chris Brown and forget it? It happened so long ago! Granted, he did beat a woman near half-to-death, but he said he was sorry, and he can dance really well. Now for those of you that do not understand obvious sarcasm, that was sarcasm.

But on this topic, I say no, I don't think that it was undermined or undercut because Chris Brown was there. The one thing I would've done differently, is the entire time this thing was happening, I would have a dedicated Chris Brown cam, just so we can all see him squirm and feel awkward. Or nah.
